How does Memunch estimate calories?
Memunch uses advanced AI (Claude by Anthropic) to analyze your meal descriptions and estimate nutritional content based on USDA food database standards. While we strive for accuracy, these are estimates and may vary from actual values.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Memunch > Cancel Subscription
Android: Go to Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Memunch > Cancel
Note: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) according to their respective policies. To request a refund:

Why isn't voice recognition working?
Please ensure:
You've granted microphone permission to Memunch in your device settings
You have a stable internet connection
You're speaking clearly and not too far from your device
There isn't excessive background noise
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data, please email us at matthew.burnell@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.
Is my data secure?
Yes! We use industry-standard security measures including:
End-to-end encryption for data in transit
Secure authentication via OAuth 2.0
Voice recordings are deleted immediately after processing

How accurate are the calorie estimates?
Our AI provides estimates based on typical serving sizes and USDA nutritional data. For most common foods, accuracy is within 10-20% of actual values. For best results, be specific about portions (e.g., "1 cup of rice" instead of "some rice").
Can I edit a meal after logging it?
Yes! Tap on any logged meal in your daily view to edit the food items, portions, or calorie values. You can also delete meals you've logged by mistake.

App Not Working Properly?
Try these steps:
Force close and restart the app

Ensure you have a stable internet connection
Restart your device
Reinstall the app (your data is safely stored in the cloud)
Subscription Not Activating?
If your subscription isn't showing as active after purchase:
Wait a few minutes and restart the app
Tap "Restore Purchases" in the subscription settings
Ensure you're signed in with the same account you used to purchase
